Logistics Supervisor

Our client - a specialist and busy manufacturer of fuel additives and lubricants, are seeking an enthusiastic and competent warehouse/logistics supervisor looking for their new career.

Mon to Fri work, based on a 40 hour week, with potential for overtime too!

More than just a warehouse role, it involves handling dangerous goods, supervising a small team, dealing with couriers and e-commerce platforms as well as managing the warehouse: (please see below)

You must be more than competent and comfortable using IT systems, as although training will be provided, there is lots of office admin/IT work involved.

Pay is £13 per hour

The ideal warehouse/logistics supervisor will have experience in mail order operations DTC and pallet size orders B2B.

Experience/skills required:

• Packing (small retail orders to multiple pallet size)
• Amazon Seller Central, eBay, WooCommerce
• Multi channel order systems such as Linnworks
• Domestic and International shipping
• Courier back-end systems such as DHL and FedEx
• Dangerous goods (ADR / LQ) experience
• Shipping paperwork completion, DGN's etc.
• Quickbooks
• Warehouse management
• Stock control
• Managing a small team of packing staff but this is very much a hands-on role too.
• Full training will be given

Please note that certain tasks will require wearing of a respirator mask, and the candidates would be required to handle chemicals
