Logistics Team Leader (Hybrid)

Our Client a Leading Foodservice provider based in Belfast have a requirement for a Logistics Training Team lead to join their team on a full-time basis. Please contact Conor O ’ Hagan for further details.

Work Hours: 36.5 hours/week ONLY

Description:

A leading foodservice provider based in Belfast seeks a motivated Logistics Training Team Leader to oversee and develop our Driver Operations Training programs. Join a family-owned team committed to excellence, community, and employee development.

Role Overview:

As a Logistics Training Team Leader, you will be pivotal in maintaining and enhancing the company ’ s logistics training standards. You will work within The Academy, reporting to the People Development and Academy Manager, and manage the Driver Ops Trainer team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduling & Planning: Organize and manage work schedules for Driver and Operations Trainers.
  • Customer Support: Provide exceptional service to internal and external clients, addressing their training needs.
  • Team Supervision: Oversee day-to-day activities, offer support, and ensure performance targets are met.
  • Data Management: Utilize the Learning Management System to provide reports and analysis to stakeholders.
  • Budget Management: Assist in managing the budget for Driver training.
  • Fleet Maintenance: Ensure the Driver Training fleet meets safety and legal standards.
  • Confidentiality: Safeguard training records and participant details in compliance with GDPR, PCI, DPA, and PECR.
  • Continuous Improvement: Embrace and drive positive changes within the team.

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Experience leading a team in the logistics industry
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong presentation, communication, and numerical skills
  • Familiarity with logistics sector legislation
  • Experience handling and organizing high volumes of data
