Our client is an outstanding early years outdoors provider for children aged 1-5 years. Open 51 weeks a year in this Manager position, you will be leading the team and ensuring children, team and parents have a fantastic experience each day. Responsibilities Develop and embed learning roots curriculum and outdoor learning experiences Lead, train and coach the team Be responsible for routines and logistics Lead on parent experience and events Ensure compliance and develop daily procedures, health and safety, and safeguarding of the children Responsible for Ofsted Continuously find innovative solutions to improve the nursery. Criteria Previous experience leading in areas within a nursery Passionate about outdoor education (interested in Forest Schooling methods) Confident in dealing with safeguarding and health & safety Enjoys people management Well-versed in all things EYFS Minimum level 3 childcare qualification (any forest school qualifications are a bonus - we can help you achieve those!) Job Information Full time 40hrs a week (5 or 4 day week option) Times: 7:30am - 5:45pm Nursery closed on Bank Holidays and 1 week at Christmas Holiday pro rata’d based on 224hrs a year for full time 40hrs a week. 4 day week = 22.5 days and 5 day week = 28 days Competitive Package You will be given a competitive sector salary and opportunities for bonuses.
