A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced Programme Manager to work with in our iiCON portfolio. iiCON is a consortium led by Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM), with partners Unilever, Liverpool University Hospitals Foundation Trust, University of Liverpool, Evotec, Infex Therapeutics and LifeArc. iiCON brings together industry, academia, and the NHS in a concerted effort to save lives globally by accelerating the discovery and development of new treatments, diagnostics, vaccines, and preventative products for infectious diseases.
The consortium was established in 2020 after being awarded a £18.6 million UKRI Strength in Places project. This project’s key performance indicators include targets to measure the investment the project has helped leverage and the direct and indirect jobs it has created. The iiCON consortium has thus far helped leverage over £200 million from public and private sources, and the Programme Manager will manage specific projects within this portfolio.
What is the role?
You will be the primary programme manager for a range of complex projects within the portfolio, responsible for leading the project management of a portfolio ranging from approximately £100k-£3 million in value. Within this role, your key responsibilities will be operational programme delivery, programme reporting and partner engagement.
