Job Description - BB Content Lead

*this role is open to remote working within the UK. Successful candidates will be required to travel to their closest UNiDAYS campus (London or Nottingham) on occasion.

The role in a nutshell

As the Content Lead for UNiDAYS, You’ll be responsible for ensuring our content calendar and content output aligns with the needs of both our Retail Team and Business Development Teams supporting them to achieve their objectives while setting UNiDAYS as the thought leader in our industry by producing compelling stories and content that drive awareness and support in creating demand from both existing business partners and new potential clients.

Day to day responsibilities 

  • Lead the development, creation and execution of our B2B content strategy ensuring it is topical, timely and supported with deep data insights.
  • Take operational ownership of the B2B content creation and scheduling of  media decks, blogs posts, B2B organic social channels and all other formats.
  • Continuously research and recommend new content opportunities to increase our reach and engagement across all content formats (written, graphical, audio and video).
  • Develop and execute organic B2B social media strategies that align with our marketing goals.
  • Create and publish engaging social media content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Manage social media channels and respond to user queries and comments.
  • Track and analyse social media performance metrics to measure results and optimise strategies.
  • Own our B2B events & webinar calendar, update senior management on available opportunities and negotiate with vendors.
  • Manage the UNiDAYS events logistics, branding and communication, both pre and post events.
  • Develop robust processes for collecting and following up on leads with the BD team
  • Work with the B2B Marketing Director to report events successes and create business cases for future events.
  • Utilities social and web analytics to track content successes and optimisations
  • Create regular content reports highlighting progress to senior management.

  • Deep understanding of UK student market
  • Native-level written and spoken English.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated. 
  • Work well under a pressured, fast-paced environment and meet deadlines without losing quality. 
  • A flexible attitude and a good team player.

What we need you to have done

  • Proven track record in writing brand-enhancing content.
  • Managing or writing for blogs, showcasing the ability to write brand-enhancing content with a strong focus on SEO. 
  • Shown ability to manage and collaborate with external agencies. 
  • Demonstrated proofreading experience ensuring content adheres to brand guidelines
  • Experience in adapting writing style to match specific brand tone of voice whilst maintaining authenticity.
  • Management of content schedules and content calendars.
  • Expertise in analysing and optimising content to drive increase in performance metrics, and translating insights into actionable strategies for improving engagement, visibility, and impact.
