Your responsibilities: * You will assist in driving sales and new customer growth against efficiency targets * Create engaging, high-quality content for various platforms, ensuring a consistent tone of voice across all customer touch points. * Focus on producing SEO-optimised copy to enhance visibility and drive traffic. * Write and proofread editorial content, maintaining high standards of quality. * Craft attention-grabbing copy for a wide range of teams across the UK business. * Deliver excellent copy across all UK communication channels, including digital, social, editorial, and print. * Optimise content for search engines (keywords, networking, tags, etc.), * Create content which generates media impact and visibility (infographics, etc.), * Write quality content for our audience (blog articles, thematic or informative articles, product information, etc.), * Contribute to the referencing, indexing and ranking of our different sites (SEO) * Collaborate closely with the SEO Lead to ensure content aligns with SEO best practices. * Ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive individual with a passion for digital marketing and sports. So if you… * An interest in sports, and an understanding of how Decathlon can speak to and appeal to both new and existing customers * 2+ years in copywriting, with a focus on SEO best practice: strong understanding of on-page optimisation and keyword research. * Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs a plus, but not a requirement * Proven track record of creating high-quality, engaging content that drives organic traffic and conversions * Strong attention to detail and an understanding of how to create copy in a range of mediums to deliver on the aims of each workstream. * Take initiative and look for ways to do things independently before seeking help. * Willing to get hands-on, persist through challenges, and embrace new opportunities. * Comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
