MPLOY is looking to source a fulltime & permanent Warehouse Operative for a valued client in Dorchester, Dorset. Why should you be interested? Our client is offering: - a salary of £22,880 PA (£11 per hour).
- a family friendly working pattern, of Monday to Friday, with a 40-hour contract and a 20-minute paid lunch break.
- flexible working hours in line with your need. Our client is more than happy for you to work 0600hrs to 1400hrs through to 0830hrs to 1630hrs, completely your choice!

In return for these excellent benefits our client is looking for a candidate who: - has previous warehousing/logistics experience with a valid Counterbalance Forklift (FLT) License/Certificate accredited by RTITB/ITSSAR etc. Unfortunately, the FLT requirement is a must for our client and you’ll be comfortable loading packed UK pallets onto 44 tonne articulated trucks, experience here will be highly valued.

Our client has a number of major UK accounts you’ll be supporting and you can expect to be booking goods in, putting stock away, regularly checking stock levels and picking/distributing orders against Work & Sales Orders. A lot of your work will include picking recently manufactured stock and palletising/wrapping it ready for distribution.
- is a dynamic person that relishes diverse and interesting work. You’ll be a natural multitasker who can re-prioritise at short notice and you’ll be willing to be flexible. At times you might be required to support our client’s production efforts.
- is physically fit.
- is a fast learner. You can expect a 2 to 3 week induction with full training provided.
- is system savvy and IT literate. You’ll be comfortable with the Microsoft Office package and our client is more than happy to teach other software systems such as Sage and courier booking portals.
- has high levels of initiative. You’ll be as comfortable working alone and part of a small/close knit team.
