We are looking to bring on-board a Night Transport Controller at our busy depot in Robertsbridge, on a full-time permanent basis with our British Gypsum contract. Pay, benefits and more: Were looking to offer a salary of up to £34,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What youll do on a typical day: You willcost effectively plan and dispatch routes/trunks to achieve contractual delivery timesfor the site Review the cost effectiveness of routes/trunks through KPI analysis, taking remedial action where necessary to improve our service Report to the Transport Manager to ensure the operation runs smoothly Champion our Road to Zero H&S policy ensuring a safe working environment for everyone What you need to succeed at XPO: Previous experience of working within a fast-paced haulage environment would be a distinct advantage IT literate with a good understanding of Microsoft packages such as Word, Outlook and Excel Be part of something big.
