Role Overview – Cell Leader

Our leading client within the manufacturing industry are looking for a Cell Leader to join their team at their state-of-the-art facility in the Lincoln area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the managing and planning for the production team spread across multiple shifts.

Key Responsibilities – Cell Leader

• Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe working environment. Serve as a lead member of the fire/spillage team.
• Direct and focus the efforts of the production team to meet internal and external customer requirements efficiently, achieving departmental and business targets.
• Ensure manufactured products meet specifications and are handled correctly to avoid additional unplanned operations.
• Maintain an organized and safe working environment.
• Implement timely countermeasures for deviations to plans.
• Reviewing KPIs to improve productivity and efficiency proactively.
• Lead department meetings, continuous improvement activities, and manage priority production orders through daily meetings with the production team.
• Take a lead role outside office hours and in the absence of the department manager.
• Identify necessary human and material resources to meet departmental and business objectives.

Key Qualifications & Experience – Cell Leader

• NVQ or higher in Engineering Manufacture or equivalent / Advanced Modern Apprenticeship.
• Project management qualification/experience.
• Experience managing teams within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication
• Target-oriented with excellent man-management skills
• Focused on quality and health and safety.
• Forward-thinking with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
