Draughtsperson

Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and collaborative Draughtsperson to join an engineering team responsible for the delivery of Engineering projects on time and on cost. This full-time design engineering role is based in Stockport and offers a salary between £40,000 - £45,000 p/a and excellent benefits. In your first few weeks in this Draughtsperson role, you can expect to: * Produce detailed, technical drawings for design solutions with the Engineering Design team
* Check, edit and maintain drawings and other technical documentation
* Prepare technical documents such as specifications, reports, manuals, procedures etc
* Support hardware development and testing
* Compile technical documents and test specifications
* Interpret technical specifications To apply for this Draughtsperson role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include: * Experience in detailed design drawings and documentation
* Experience in CAD and PDM software including Solid Edge, AutoCAD, Inventor, Solid Works, Siemens NX, Pro Engineer or similar
* Understanding CAD and other Software file formats
* Worked within medium to heavy engineering or sheet metal industry with knowledge of welded and fabricated structures
* Knowledge and experience of PDM administration
