Electrical Launch and Manufacturing Engineer Position Type: 7 month rolling contract I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Halewood who are seeking a Electrical Launch and Manufacturing Engineer to join their team There are several roles available within the DPP (Digital Product Platform- within the electrical engineering department), aligning to 3 different deliverables: launch, PVT (Plant Vehicle Team) quality and EDS harness. As a Launch Engineer you will be part of the team leading the introduction of electrical systems for new model programs into the Halewood plant, leading investigations into issues identified during the launch process, assisting the engineering teams to develop containments and design solutions, and managing the launch metrics. As a PVT Engineer you will work on electrical system issues affecting manufacturing and customers, problem solving, monitoring quality systems and assisting developing design improvements hence contributing to the delivery of Quality targets for each vehicle line. Knowledge and technical understanding of electrical systems (including control module software, diagnostics and electrical wiring harnesses) Use of diagnostic tools to interrogate vehicle electrical systems Previous experience of vehicle launch into production including experience of delivery of problem resolutions in manufacturing Previous experience of plant vehicle quality operations in production including experience of delivery of problem resolutions in manufacturing Previous experience of engineering delivery of electrical systems (including control module software or electrical wiring harnesses) Contechs is a strategic partner to the automotive industry, providing innovative design and engineering services to global OEMs, from concept to production.
