Field Engineer

Field Engineer – Permanent – Fareham

Our client is a leading company in the UK, manufacturing and supplying products of the highest performance and quality. They want to recruit for this full time role urgently.

As the Field Engineering, your role will include both site based engineering works and also office duties. You will lead a small team of engineers, responsible for attending customer site and providing engineering support on a range of electro-mechanical equipment. This role will take you to some of the most interesting and unique places, not accessible to the general public.

Responsibilities:

• Tasks involve maintaining, servicing, installation and repairs of primarily electrical customer equipment.


• Conducting risk assessments and method statements for planned works


• Working with a team of engineers, providing technical support and allocating work duties

Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 2 Engineering - minimum

About you:

• Proficiency: 80% electrical, 20% mechanical (mechanical experience preferred but not mandatory).


• Full Driving License


• Strong interpersonal skills


• Good team player


• Excellent problem solver who can communicate effectively


• Willingness and desire to learn new skills and invest in professional development
