Job Title: Finance Trainee

Location: Rochester, 3 days per week on site. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £22,000 Fixed term contract for 2 years

What you'll be doing:

• The opportunity to study towards your CIMA qualification whilst doing a variety of roles in the finance function
• The scheme aims to develop individuals into Chartered Management Accountants with a broad understanding of all aspects of finance and how these fit into the wider business organisation
• As part of the programme, you will complete the CIMA certificate in business accounting over the first 2 years
• The trainee programme has been designed to expose you to a variety of Finance roles across Cost base, Project accounting, financial planning and analysis, Cost estimating and pricing
• After successful in exams and placements an offer maybe made for an additional 3 years to study the CIMA qualification, which is equivalent to a master's degree

Your skills and experiences:

• 5 GCSEs A*-C or 9-4 (or equivalent) including Mathematics and English
• 120 UCAS points gained from a maximum of 3 A-Level qualifications or equivalent (excludes AS level), preferably including Mathematics and/or a business related subject
• Balance both professional education and a full time role through excellent organisational skills and dedication to their development
• Knowledge of Microsoft excel and the ability to present data concisely is desired

Electronic Systems is located in Rochester, Kent employing around 1400 people and supports the development and manufacturing of Flight Controls, Display and Mission Systems, and Energy Management Systems.
