Butler Rose is working with an Exeter based charity to recruit a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. The position is available due to internal promotion. Reporting into the Head of Finance, this is very much a hybrid role with a good level of flexibility, working for an organisation that makes a positive impact on people's lives. Key duties will include: * Balance sheet reconciliations
* Process improvement of current reporting
* Month end process completion including responsibility for ensuring month end timetable is met
* Involvement with forecasting and budgeting process
* Involvement with year-end process
* Ensure all financial submissions such as VAT and gift aid are submitted accurately and on time
* Working with various internal stakeholders across the organisation
* Use of Excel and Sage 200
* Other ad hoc duties as required The successful candidate will be either formally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or part-qualified / qualified by experience providing you can demonstrate you have the required skills to perform in this role.
