Our client, a large and very successful precast concrete manufacturer, are looking for a Forklift Truck Driver/Yard Support Operative to join their team. You will be responsible for driving a forklift to clear production lines within the factory, loading and unloading trailers in a safe manner, maintaining an organised work environment both in the yard and factory, maintaining forklift by performing daily checks and reporting any defects, identifying and reporting any non-conformances in manufactured products, handling documentation and signing off deliveries and assisting with stock take. To qualify, its desirable that you have a valid forklift licence and ideally previous experience of working in a precast concrete manufacturing environment (not essential) You will be a good team player with the ability to use own initiative and as part of a team with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. You will possess good planning and organisation skills, excellent communication skills, be highly motivate with a flexible approach to working hours. .
