What you will do in your working day

A typical day at ADP will revolve around the daily production list, so everyone is aware of what needs to be printed, finished and despatched on any given day.

Initially you would be shadowing a member of staff and will quickly learn new skills that will enable you to become integrated into the team.

Those skills can be Pc/Admin Based or:

Digital Printing-operation of the press

Print Finishing-folding, scoring, saddle-stitching, Perfect Binding, Wiro Binding, Laminating.

Pack and despatch

The apprentice will work towards attaining the Lean Manufacturing Operative Apprenticeship with training provided by Weymouth College.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Following completion of the apprenticeship the right candidate may be taken on as a permanent member of staff.
