Manufacturing Expeditor

Due to company growth, my client, an leading international manufacturing business based near Burton Upon Trent are looking to recruit an Expeditor to join their existing team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and information throughout the manufacturing process. Interested candidates will have a demonstrable background working within a manufacturing environment with experience in expediting / progress chasing products on through production. Experience with Welding/ Fabrication / Machining would be advantageous but not essential. This position is based on days and available for an immediate start. Hours - Mon - Thurs (Apply online only) / Friday 0830 - 15.Coordinate with production, procurement, and shipping departments to prioritize and expedite orders based on client requirements.

• Monitor production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on order status, including any delays or changes to delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify potential bottlenecks or challenges in the manufacturing process and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
• Progress Chasing in a similar role within an Engineering/ Manufacturing environment.
