Manufacturing Operations Manager

Lime Talent are exclusively partnering with a Global Food Manufacturing Business in West Midlands on a Manufacturing Operations Manager role, in this role you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operational KPI's and efficiencies (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Performance) whilst leading a team across Operations, Maintenance and Continuous Improvement

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing daily operational KPI's and efficiencies in your designated area on site covering Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery & Performance.
• Implement and maintain best practices in manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Lead, mentor, and develop teams in Production, Maintenance and Continuous Improvement to foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Ensure that all products meet the company’s quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the maintenance of equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Utilize lean manufacturing principles and other continuous improvement methodologies to drive operational excellence.

Key Requirements:

• Strong Manufacturing background ideally within Food Manufacturing/FMCG or similar.
• Strong leadership experience, evidence of leading high performing teams and developing employees.
• Will be experienced in driving and improving operational efficiencies in Manufacturing.
• Lean Manufacturing/Continuous improvement background.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
