Manufacturing Team Leader

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Manufacturing Team Leader for our prestigious in the Chorley area. This is an exciting opportunity that has arose due to our clients continued growth. Our client offers an excellent working environment within a very good team of people. The role will involve overseeing between 5-10 staff members dependant on business requirements. Responsibilities
• Report to the Refurb Manager for refurbs tasks
• Report to the Production Manager for Cleaning tasks
• Set daily/weekly objectives with the Refurb and Production Managers and communicate them to employees
• Organise workflow by assigning responsibilities
• Ensure operators have works orders paperwork for each job and complete as required.
• Ensure operators understand the quality requirements for each job
• Ensure stores have issued items an accordance with the works orders
• Oversee and coach employees
• Train employees and seek training support as and when required
• Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
• Check production output according to specifications
• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
• Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards
• Perform Operator duties as required Requirements and skills
• Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role
• Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
• Experience with MS Office
• Experience with an ERP system
• Organisational and leadership abilities
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
• Problem-solving skills Hours
This position is working between the hours of 8am & 5pm and offers an early finish on a Friday. Salary & Benefits The pay rate for this position is £14.00 per hour. The position is a temporary to permanent position. * On site canteen * Free Parking * 28 Days Holiday
