Manufacturing Technician / Production Technician

The successful Production Technician will work too augment the current team in the electro-mechanical assembly and test of a variety of infrared thermal imaging related products. Assembly: execute the assembly of electromechanical components and systems according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Testing: perform functional tests and quality checks on assembled electromechanical devices to ensure they meet performance and reliability standards. Troubleshooting: identify and resolve issues encountered during assembly and testing processes, utilising diagnostic tools and techniques. Documentation: maintain accurate records of assembly procedures, test results, and any deviations encountered during production. Collaboration: work closely with engineers, designers, and other production team members to optimise manufacturing processes and improve product quality. Quality: contribute to quality assurance initiatives by actively participating in Equipment Maintenance: assist in the maintenance and calibration of production To be successful in this role of Production Technician we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of: A formal Engineering/relevant qualification/experience. Proficiency in electromechanical assembly techniques, including soldering, wiring, and mechanical assembly. Familiarity with basic electrical and mechanical principles Some experience with optical assembly preferred. SMT soldering (to 0201) and pcb repair skills an advantage. Wiring and cable/harness assembly experience. ACS are recruiting for a Production Technician .
