VANRATH are pleased to be recruiting a Management Accountant to work with a major manufacturing client based in the Cookstown area. Initially this is an interim role for a period of 6 months however should the Management Accountant perform well, there is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent contract.

The Management Accountant will be involved in the timely and accurate production of monthly accounts, working closely with operational teams to review and analyse any variances. The Management Accountant will join a stable team environment and will gain support from colleagues with extensive industry knowledge, manufacturing experience would be ideal but not essential.

About you

• Qualified Accountant (Desired), Qualified by experience will also be considered
• Management Accounting experience
• Excellent IT skills including MS Excel
• Available at short notice
• Strong communication skills

What you'll do

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of variance analysis to assist with decision making processes
• Preparation and input of journals for month end process and preparation of monthly back up schedules
• Supervising finance team
• Stock reconciliations
