Trade Sales Assistant

For over 30 years we have supplied Ducting and Ventilation products throughout the UK from our manufacturing and warehouse premises near Sheffield city centre with branches based in Stockport, Leeds and Hull. We have now looking to expand and strengthen our internal sales team to build upon our existing success.

Working in a fast paced industry the ideal person will thrive in an environment where they have full control over the sales process from initial enquiry, organising manufacture, negotiating with suppliers through to arranging transport.

To succeed you must be an excellent relationship builder, highly organised, adaptable to constant change and possess the ability to effectively manage customer expectations ensuring quality of service is second to none.

General Daily Duties

- Dealing with incoming sales enquiries via phone, e-mail and trade counter

- Manage Stock within the Warehouse

- Produce and follow up quotes and tender bids

- Organise manufacturing via the Head Office.

- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers

- Arrange transportation of goods either through internal drivers or external couriers

- Raise Invoices, purchase orders and delivery notes

- Highly organised and adaptable to change

- Strong Negotiation Skills

- Excellent relationship builder

- Able to multi-task

- Technically minded

- Able to use Excel, Word and Outlook, knowledge of Sage would be beneficial.

Desirable but not essential

- Knowledge of the Ducting and Ventilation Industry
