Job Description - Content Marketer

E-FWD is an exclusive membership community designed to serve senior strategic leaders in the energy transition.

We offer two membership tiers: Accelerate and Elevate. Both offer access to insights designed to help shape C-suite agendas. While Elevate is open to anyone with an interest in the energy transition, Accelerate is reserved for senior strategic leaders. Accelerate offers quarterly events designed for high-level connectivity and shaping industry-wide outcomes. All members of Elevate and Accelerate are invited to an annual summit.

Our launch this year featured former Prime Minister Gordon Brown as keynote speaker, followed by deep engagement with other policymakers and industry experts at subsequent events.

Responsibilities

Content management, overview

  • Support the Senior Membership Manager in delivering a content marketing strategy that drives measurable growth for E-FWD
  • Lead on operational execution of the content marketing strategy, working in concert with paid activity, external partnerships, and cross-brand Group opportunities
  • Repurpose high-quality editorial into impactful promotional activity in emails, social, etc.
  • Oversee multichannel engagement strategies for members and prospects
  • Implement a consistent tone of voice and style across all touchpoints
  • Support the E-FWD editor-in-chief in the creation of the weekly newsletter, Fast-FWD
  • Support the Senior Membership Manager in the creation of a range of emails, including:
      • Lead nurture for multiple membership tiers
      • Onboarding of members
      • Lifetime engagement
      • Renewals
      • Event comms, etc.
  • Assist in the proofreading and production of an E-FWD community newsletter
  • Support the launch of an internal comms newsletter, All-FWD
  • Partner with the Group’s SME for email marketing, to personalise content
  • Generate content for testing and optimisation of open and click-through rates

Social media

  • Promote events, insights, and community via the E-FWD LinkedIn channel
  • Expand our content marketing strategy with a focus on video, via YouTube
  • Monitor social media trends and adjust strategies to maximise reach and engagement
  • Create engagement strategies across channels for members and prospects
  • Recommend and help create art using photo libraries and other platform such as Canva
  • Partner with the Group’s SME for social media to test and optimise posts

Landing pages and campaigns

  • Review and optimise existing landing pages
  • Lead on copy for new pages, in both HubSpot and WordPress
  • Partner with the Group’s in-house agency, Fifth Ring, to optimise and deliver campaigns, which may include helping craft copy for paid media
  • Partner with our Creative teams to produce copy for sales assets
  • Repurpose and customise decks for major energy organisations
  • Ensure all material is on-brand and aligned with our messaging strategy and value prop

This is a full-time, permanent position, working 35 hours per week from our Dundee, Aberdeen or Edinburgh Office. The role presents the opportunity for hybrid working that must include regular office attendance.
