Head of Finance

Leeds based Public business are looking to expand their accounts function with Head of Finance opportunity. You will support the Finance Director with the production of financial accounts and all budgeting, forecasting, and reporting requirements to stakeholders. The role offers great exposure and the chance to work within a growing market for a business that can offer fantastic progression opportunities.You will be working collectively with senior finance and the wider team to achieve the following responsibilities:* Management of a finance team, including direct management of financial accountants and assistant financial accountants
* Job coaching and career development
* Approval of journals posted by team
* Review and control of balance sheet reconciliations
* Responsible for month end processes
* Main contact for auditors looking at these entities (statutory auditors; group auditors; internal auditors; SOX auditors; bank auditors)Preferably you will have experience in producing statutory accounts and be qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA.
