We’re looking for a Junior Designer to help further our growth.
We are looking for a key role to join our rapidly growing Creative team. As Impression’s Junior Designer, you’ll be responsible for creating high-performing creative assets across digital channels for a range of clients. You’ll leverage your expertise across Adobe CC suite to create engaging & impactful visuals, working closely with our Paid Media team and Creative Lead to push the creative envelope. There may be opportunities to lead on some client accounts, with support from the Creative Lead, and capture UGC style content for clients. At Impression, we are driven by creativity, experimentation & evidence. We do not presume to know the answer, our mission is to experiment, test and learn continuously. Pushing the boundaries of design whilst constantly optimising the clients assets and achieving the best results. We are looking for an enthusiastic designer with 1-2 years of design experience that showcases a range of digital designs and formats. As our junior designer, you will have;
• Education and Experience: A qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a similar field or relevant work experience or someone who has a passion for design. • Software Skills: Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and some knowledge of After Effects & Premiere Pro. • Portfolio: A conceptual portfolio that showcases a variety of design work across different digital platforms. •Design Knowledge: A solid understanding of design principles, typography, and colour theory is necessary. Experience filming & editing UGC content would also be a bonus. •Enthusiasm and Innovation: A passion for design and a commitment to staying up to date on platform advancements, and industry trends. •Other characteristics: We love a creative brainstorm so strong communication and collaboration skills are essential. Excellent organisational and time management skills are also required.
Your main responsibilities will include;
• Creating Compelling Performance Creative: Develop and design outstanding digital assets tailored for platforms like Meta, LinkedIn & Display ads. • Driving Brand Consistency: You will be able to create engaging creatives whilst still adhering to client guidelines, ensuring every design remains consistent. • Collaborating Creatively: Participate in brainstorming sessions and share innovative ideas that reflect the latest trends and inspiring designs for performance creative content. Identify opportunities that arise to support clients on brand development. • Experimentation: Support the development of A/B tests and other experimentation initiatives to optimise design elements and user experience. Trialling new ideas and analysing results to find the best designs per client. • Supporting and Inspiring: Assist the Creative Lead with various duties including managing client relationships, liaising with internal teams, photo retouching, and creative tasks.
SALARY: £24,500
Please note, this role is a hybrid role, in line with our flexible working policy. We look to hire candidates who are no more than a 90 minute journey away from our office locations to ensure your personal time is protected and that you're able to travel into the office when necessary.
