Job Description - Marketing Admin Assistant

Marketing Admin Assistant Location Goole :

Overview:

We are looking for a motivated junior Marketing Assistant to join our growing team. As a Marketing Assistant, you report to the Commercial Director and work with the existing marketing team to help create, maintain and expand company presence and visibility across all of our brands. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing and contribute to the growth of our company. You would be working in a modern office setting with a friendly team that thrives on productivity and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of sales and marketing plans.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and customer needs.
  • Support the sales team in achieving their sales targets through lead generation and follow-ups.
  • Responding to and diverting customers to relevant departments - via the social media channels.
  • Help in organizing and managing promotional events, campaigns, and digital marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to produce and distribute marketing materials like brochures, emails, and social media content (posts, reels, blogs, competitions and giveaways etc)
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and sales activities.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales and marketing teams as needed.
  • Blog writing and SEO support
  • Competitor analysis, seeking trends and what's working and not working for others.
  • Bringing fresh new ideas to the team

Skill requirements

Essential:

  • Knowledge of Social Media platforms
  • Understanding of Sales and Marketing principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A keen interest in marketing and design.

Advantageous but not essential as training will be given:

  • Proven experience in a sales or marketing position
  • SEO knowledge
  • Knowledge of social media tools such as Canva, Hootsuite etc..
  • Knowledge of other creativity tools like Adobe Photoshop
  • Video editing skills

Advertised wage is depending on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £23,795.20-£27,040.00 per year

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

  • Administrative experience: 2 years (preferred)
