Marketing Executive

Your job Thorn Lighting have a rare opportunity for someone early in their marketing career to gain some valuable industry experience. The marketing executive will work cross functionally across the team to ensure all campaign focuses and product launches are captured within our PR and communication plan. They will execute according to the plan including but not limited to email marketing, social media and PR. Key within this role is the pro-active approach to creating global case studies. Through regular alignment with our key sales regions the marketing executive will aim to produce regular case studies for our indoor and outdoor solutions. This will include organisation of photography and potentially managing the creation of video case studies. Finally, regularly assisting the Thorn product management and marketing team as well as our sales regions with graphic design requests using Adobe In-Design will be a key part of the role. Main Duties include:

• Assist in the development and own the delivery of innovative and effective integrated marketing campaigns across all channels including email, social, website.
• To ensure content, collaterals and communications are always up-to-date and aligned with the wider brand strategy and guidelines.
• To see marketing campaigns through from creative brief to execution, managing relationships with agencies and ensuring adherence to the department budget.
• To manage and develop collaterals from creative briefs and copywriting through to distribution.
• To measure, report and evaluate the impact of campaigns.
• To schedule, build, test, quality assure and dispatch emails, automated emails, and newsletters.
• Social media content scheduling responsibility (LinkedIn).
• Assist with adhoc internal graphic design requirements to support our regional sales and marketing teams.

Your profile We are looking for…

• Experience in copywriting and content creation
• Confidence in using Adobe In-Design is essential
• Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative ideas.
• Experience in using digital marketing tools and platforms; including social media, and email marketing.
• Confident to challenge the status quo.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• CRM system experience (Salesforce) is desirable.
