The Marketing Graduate Programme is designed to immerse you in the exciting world of Marketing at Boots. Our Marketing teams are continually generating creative and engaging content through an integrated omnichannel approach (i.e. across our stores, mobile app, TV/Radio, social media platforms, emails etc), generating loyalty, satisfaction and trust. The Performance Media team are responsible for driving forward the paid media strategy for Boots UK, covering performance marketing channels such as PPC, Affiliates, Display and Paid Social. This role offers a broader exposure to performance media, focusing on in-house activities rather than working solely with agencies. In this role you’ll be instrumental in the day-to-day delivery of PPC activity, working with our internal and agency PPC experts, as well as our teams at Google and Bing, to deliver best in class PPC advertising for all product categories across Boots UK. We’ll help you develop the skills and expertise that you need to become a Performance Media specialist of the future. You’ll have access to functional and role specific training to help set you up for success. What you’ll do
You will build relationships with internal stakeholders across Media, Marketing, Ecommerce and Finance to understand business priorities and role of PPC in driving online performance.
You will assist in creating and managing the overall performance media plan, working with internal Performance Media Executives and Specialists to brief new campaigns based on the latest events, promotions, business priorities, and wider marketing plans
You will monitor the budget, looking at performance results and spend pacing against ROAS targets.
You will use web analytics tools and conduct competitor research to monitor performance and market competition, reporting back to the wider PPC team and agency to inform planning and optimisations. You’ll continuously look for new opportunities to improve performance and process.
