Marketing & Publicity Assistant

Job description

The Employer is: CRUDSADERS FOOTBALL CLUB Crusaders FC is looking for a self motivated Marketing and Publicity Assistant to support our management team and marketing company to promote and raise awareness for the football clubs, academy, hospitality and outreach work of the organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our marketing team, creating engaging content, fostering media and community liaison and working closely with our Social Media & Content Assistant to support them in their role..

Responsibilities

• Working with our marketing agency to create a robust press and media list to send press releases, statements, match reports and invitations to for all aspects of the club.
• Writing and distributing press releases for the club and all other aspects of the organisation.
• Work with our marketing agency and club manager to create new ways of encouraging fan engagement and footfall on match days for all major teams within the Crusaders FC brand.
• Work with our marketing agency and hospitality manager to create a marketing strategy and plan for the hospitality facilities.
• Work with our marketing agency and club manager to create a marketing plan to raise awareness for our outreach activities.
• Work with our marketing agency and content assistant to create news and blog content for the website.
• Create case studies, player profiles and other content for marketing purposes.
• Support with the creation of social media content where required.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Ability to and be comfortable using telephone.
• Ability to create or learn how to create marketing and PR plans.
• A qualification (or relevant demonstrable experience) within the industry.

Desirable Skills

• Multi-media production.
• Knowledge of content creation tools.
• Knowledge of Wordpress.
• Journalism experience or qualification.
• Be prepared to use marketing and sales technology platforms.
• Having used CRM or marketing technology platforms previously.

Further Information

The Employer is: CRUDSADERS FOOTBALL CLUB. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position.
