Sales and Marketing Representative

Tracked Carriers Ltd is a small but rapidly growing business at a well established site with good facilities in Tiptree, moving to Witham this summer.

We manufacture remote controlled machinery for the purpose of moving heavy items and export to several different countries.

We are looking for a Sales and Marketing Representative, which will involve the following duties:

• Customer Development and Maintenance: Actively seek out and engage with potential customers, establish and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensure customer satisfaction, manage social media enquiries.
• Product Demonstrations: Assist with product demonstrations to customers and new dealers, highlight product advantages and features, and drive customer purchase decisions.
• Sales Process: Create quotations through Sage software, look to upsell products and services, follow up quotations and update records.
• Dealer Relationships: Communicate with existing foreign dealers, keeping them up to date with new products, pricing changes, events, review dealer performance.
• Sales Strategies : Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to meet company sales targets and performance metrics, regularly report on sales progress and results, review events and exhibitions.
• Market Research and Feedback : Monitor market trends and competition, gather customer feedback and requirements, and suggest improvements to optimise products and sales strategies.
• Market Analysis and Positioning : Conduct market research and analysis to identify target markets and regions, develop market positioning strategies for brands and products.
• Marketing Campaigns : Design and implement various marketing campaigns and promotional plans, and track and evaluate results.
• Brand Promotion and Management : Establish and maintain brand image, develop brand promotion strategies, enhance brand awareness and reputation through various channels such as social media, advertising, and public relations activities.
• Content Creation and Distribution : Help create high-quality marketing content, including articles, videos, and advertisements, and promote it through various channels (e.g., website, social media, email) to attract and convert potential customers.

Experience:

• Sales and Marketing Experience : Possess relevant industry experience in sales and marketing, with a record of achieving sales targets and successfully planning and executing marketing campaigns.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills : Capable of effective communication with clients and team members, building strong relationships, and having outstanding negotiation and customer service skills.
• Grammar and computing skills: Must have excellent grammar skills, and experience with Microsoft Office and social media in general.
• Creativity and Problem-Solving Skills : Possess creative thinking to design and implement innovative marketing activities, and have the ability to find effective solutions when facing challenges.

Hours of work are typically 08:00 - 17:00 on site in Witham. Holiday entitlement increases with length of employment, up to 33 days.

Pay: £26,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
