Delivery Manager - Sustainable Transport 12-month Contract - Outside IR35 Local Authority Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite/in office (remainder from home) Immediate Start This postholder will support the delivery of the bus priority programme, which is currently in the pre-construction phase. They will oversee and manage technical construction and design activities within the major multi-modal road investment programme to ensure successful delivery. Requirements: Experience in working with contractors on the front line in mobilising complex highway programmes to site, as well as management of construction activities. Experience of working in the public sector, on the client side and be very familiar with working with complex stakeholder/partner environments and competent in maintaining strong governance. Adept at writing and briefing technical reports. Contract management and contractor engagement, within a NEC environment. Civil Engineering background. Accredited with a relevant professional body.
