to join a multi-award-winning, consumers' choice, social-housing refurbishment business based in Barking, East London.

role involves participating in every aspect of the bid writing process, assisting in the creation of customized, high-quality SQ and tender submissions.

Your main responsibilities in this role will be to form a positive lasting impression in the minds of this company's customers through your actions, writing skills and passion for delivering a great service.
Responsibilities of the role but not limited to;
Liaise with clients and coordinate internal teams to support the development and writing of bespoke, high-quality SQ and ITT submissions that clearly demonstrate an understanding of client requirements. Translate technical information into clear, written proposals that can be understood by both technical and non-technical audiences. Clearly communicate the key benefits of our tender response through the development of compelling proposals and presentations. Assist in producing case studies and gather additional evidence to support submissions. Help maintain the bid library and collate high-scoring bid responses to support future submissions. Aid in maintaining the bid pipeline and reporting process in conjunction with Bid Team colleagues. Review tender documents and complete a bid plan to ensure timely submission of a conforming bid. Attend tender launch meetings and tender reviews for Director sign-off relating to the written/quality bid. Understand the evaluation criteria for each tender and familiarize oneself with the rules, identifying a winning strategy by determining client priorities from the document or other publicly available channels. Complete SQs with support from the Bid Coordinator. Write responses to all allocated SQs and ITT questions, ensuring a clear, easy-to-understand, and high-scoring response. Request tender stage support from the operational team (programmes, method statements, risk assessments, site compound plans, etc.) and follow up regularly to ensure timely return and high-quality information. Support the management of tender clarifications daily, ensuring they are copied to the bid and estimating team each day. Organize bid production to ensure the timely printing or uploading of final SQ and ITT documents. Support the Bid Coordinator in managing client procurement portals to ensure company information is up-to-date and refreshed. Help identify areas for improvement by obtaining detailed feedback when we are unsuccessful and implementing lessons learned. Assist with managing the references database to ensure clients are not overburdened. Support the marketing team in producing internal and external marketing materials. Prepare tender interview presentations and brief the interview delegates. Assist in organizing company events. Regularly communicate with clients and consultants to build rapport and follow up on information and outcomes. Ensure external communications align with the larger context of the brand and consistently reinforce strategic objectives. Understand and promote the corporate tone of voice and style guide, proactively educating employees and suppliers on its use.
Desirable attributes of the successful candidate
Social housing/residential construction/ refurbishment bid writing experience is advantageous Proven creative writing abilities Exceptional organizational and time-management capabilities Strong commercial awareness Comprehensive knowledge of the bid process Experience in writing proposals, bids, and tenders in a dynamic office setting Familiarity with electronic tender platforms Self-motivated and results-focused with an optimistic attitude and a strong emphasis on client satisfaction Dependable, patient, and empathetic team member Precise, confident, and articulate Meticulous attention to detail; accurate and systematic in tackling challenges and completing tasks Superior computer skills with advanced proficiency in MS Word and a strong command of Excel, PowerPoint Desktop publishing and knowledge of InDesign Effective communicator, confident in engaging and influencing at all levels Skilled in building relationships and establishing a strong rapport with clients to inspire confidence
