The Role - 1:1 ASD TA

As a 1:1 ASD TA, you will provide tailored support to a KS2 pupil with ASD, helping them engage with lessons and build confidence. You will work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual support plans, promote positive behaviour and encourage independence and social development. The ideal candidate will be patient, caring and proactive, with a genuine commitment to supporting children with complex needs. Previous SEN experience within a primary school is essential.

This welcoming primary school in Tower Hamlets caters for children aged 3-11 and is committed to creating an inclusive environment where every pupil feels loved, supported and can flourish in their learning . With a dedicated SEN team and supportive leadership, the school provides effective support for pupils with SEN, including ASD and ADHD. Staff work collaboratively to support children's academic progress, emotional wellbeing and social development. The school is rated 'Good' by Ofsted.
