Are you a caring and resilient 1:1 Learning Mentor looking for a rewarding role supporting children who require additional help to thrive in their learning?

Do you have experience working closely with pupils to help them develop confidence, independence, and a positive attitude towards education?

Are you passionate about making a genuine difference in the lives of young people who need extra encouragement and guidance?

The Role – 1:1 Learning Mentor

As a 1:1 Learning Mentor, you will provide tailored, individualised support to a pupil with additional learning or emotional needs. Your role will involve helping them engage with their lessons, develop social and emotional skills, and build self-esteem in a supportive school environment.

Working alongside class teachers and the SEN team, you will implement personalised strategies, track progress, and help ensure the pupil is fully included in school life.

The ideal 1:1 Learning Mentor will be:

* Empathetic, patient, and approachable

* Experienced in supporting pupils with SEND or social, emotional, and behavioural needs

* Confident using positive reinforcement and tailored learning strategies

* Committed to helping every child achieve their personal best
