Our client, a reputable secondary school in Brighton, is looking to add a dedicated SEN TA to their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual passionate about supporting students with special educational needs to make a real difference in their lives.

About the Role:

As an SEN TA, you will play a crucial role in enabling students with diverse learning needs to thrive academically and personally. You will work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students with SEN.


• Assist with the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).


• Adapt learning materials and activities to suit individual student needs.


• Encourage student participation and engagement in classroom activities.


• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.


• Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Experience working with students with SEN, preferably in a secondary school setting.


• A relevant qualification in special educational needs or a related field.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young people.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
