KS2 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant – ADHD – NG5
£100–£110 per day | Full-time | September start
Class Mate is recruiting for a KS2 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with ADHD at a primary school in NG5. You’ll provide consistent, individualised support to help the pupil access learning, manage the school day and develop greater confidence and independence.
The Role
* Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a KS2 pupil with ADHD
* Support access to classroom learning and activities
* Use appropriate strategies to encourage focus and engagement
* Help promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation
* Adapt activities to meet the pupil's individual needs
* Work closely with the class teacher and SEND team
We're Looking For
* Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
* Experience supporting pupils with ADHD is highly desirable
* Understanding of behaviour, regulation and individual support strategies
* Patient, consistent and nurturing approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
