The Position - 1:1 Teaching Assistant

The school is looking for a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with ASD within a primary school setting. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support, helping the pupil engage in lessons, develop social skills, and reach their full potential academically and emotionally.The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting children with ASD and be confident using strategies to support communication, emotional regulation, and behaviour management. You will need to be patient, proactive, nurturing, and able to build positive relationships with both pupils and staff.
