We're working closely with a growing special school based in Gloucester that are in need of a 1-1 Tutor that can join the team in teaching a boy in Year 5 with SEMH.

The school currently have 2 sites in Gloucester but at some point next year will be moving to a site in the Slimbridge area, so being flexible with these locations is essential (i.e. can drive).

The role

This student in year 5 has severe anxiety so as a result needs supporting away from other students, with the hope that he will eventually reintegrate into normal school life.

Much of the planning for lessons will be provided by departments but you will be expected to lead these lessons and have a good understanding of the primary curriculum model. You do not necessarily need a QTS but experience of working with SEMH is essential.
