We’re looking for a compassionate and proactive Supported Living Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you’ll support young people aged 16+ to develop independence, build life skills, and move confidently towards independent living.
Whether you’re starting your career in care, already experienced, or returning to the sector, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference while growing within a supportive and values -driven organisation.
Empower Family Group’s Supported Living service provides longer -term care for young people who are often navigating life without a consistent support network. Many come from complex or challenging backgrounds and need stability, structure, and guidance to move forward positively.
We provide safe, nurturing homes staffed by highly trained professionals who offer a strong foundation for growth and development. Through a phased support model, we guide young people from fully staffed homes towards semi -independent living and ultimately into their own tenancies.
Our dedicated team works collaboratively to build confidence, resilience, and hope for the future — empowering every young person to achieve their potential.
This role is only open to applicants who have the legal right to work in the UK. We are unable to consider applications from individuals who do not hold Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR), Settled Status, Pre -Settled Status, or another form of long -term work authorisation.
Please note: we do not offer visa sponsorship for this position. Proof of right to work will be required before employment. All offers of employment are subject to verification of ID and right to work checks, satisfactory references, and an enhanced DBS check, in line with our safer recruitment policy.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, in line with the principles set out in Working Together to Safeguard Children (2018). All staff are expected to uphold these principles and contribute to a culture of vigilance, accountability, and child -centred practice.
As part of our safer recruitment process, all applicants will undergo thorough background checks, including references from the last two employers and an enhanced DBS check. Safeguarding training is mandatory and forms a core part of our induction and ongoing development.
We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified individuals regardless of background, identity, or lived experience. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and respected.
