1st Line IT Support Analyst

Location: Leeds 1 day per week (4 remote)

IR35: In scope

Rate: Band 5 (£160.20 - £201.40 per day)

Duration: To end of March 2027 initially

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused 1st Line IT Support Analyst to join a small team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys resolving technical issues, providing excellent customer service, and supporting users in a fast-paced environment.You will act as the first point of contact for IT-related incidents and service requests, ensuring users receive timely and effective support across a range of desktop, laptop, mobile and Microsoft technologies.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a 1st Line, 2nd Line, Desktop Support or IT Support role.
Wintel
Experience building, configuring and deploying laptops and desktops.
Experience installing, upgrading and supporting software applications.
Experience supporting user accounts, access requests and password resets.
Hardware and desktop troubleshooting skills.
Basic networking knowledge including Wi-Fi.
Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day IT support to internal users.
Build, configure and deploy laptops and desktops.
Install, upgrade and maintain software applications.
Set up new starters and assist with equipment provisioning.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer and connectivity issues.
Perform hardware upgrades and device replacements.
Manage user accounts, password resets and access requests.
Work closely with colleagues to resolve technical issues.
