2027 Early Careers Programme - Property Management

You'll be part of a team delivering a full range of property management services across a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, and retail properties.

A key feature of our programme is early and consistent client exposure, giving you the opportunity to build relationships and develop confidence in real-world settings from the outset.

You'll also collaborate closely with our ESG, Facilities Management, Property Accounting, and Building Surveying teams, gaining broad exposure across disciplines. As part of the programme, you'll earn your IOSH certificate and attend external events and industry forums.

This position is full-time, combining on-the-job training with attendance at external events and forums.

Available Pathways

Graduate Pathways

RICS-Accredited Degree

• 24-month programme designed to support you in completing the APC and becoming a Chartered Surveyor.

Non-RICS Accredited Degree

• 30-month programme designed to support you in completing an MSc in Commercial Real Estate alongside the APC, leading to Chartered Surveyor status.

Apprentice Pathway

Commercial Real Estate Degree Apprenticeship

• 5-year programme designed to support you in completing a BSc in Commercial Real Estate and the APC to become a Chartered Surveyor.

What You'll Do

As a Management Surveyor, you'll oversee the day-to-day management of a varied portfolio of commercial properties, including retail, office, and industrial assets.

You'll provide specialist advice to landlords and tenants on matters such as lease obligations, repairs, and maintenance, while overseeing the management of rental income and other tenant-related charges. You'll also work closely with clients to help enhance the value of their property portfolios.

Our clients include large institutional investors, pension funds, insurance companies, and property companies.

Other responsibilities include:

• Arranging and undertaking property inspections.
• Preparing and administering service charge expenditure.
• Ensuring compliance with legislation, including Health & Safety requirements and other regulations.
• Managing tenant applications for assignments, subletting, and alterations.
• Supporting clients with value-enhancement opportunities, including rent reviews, lettings, and lease renewals.
• Reporting to and working with clients on tenure matters and physical property improvements.

Entry Requirements

Graduate Applicants

RICS-Accredited Degree Pathway

• RICS-accredited degree with a minimum 2:2 classification (or equivalent).

Non-RICS Degree Pathway

• Non-cognate, non-RICS accredited degree with a minimum 2:2 classification.

Apprentice Applicants

• 96 UCAS tariff points (or equivalent) and GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Mathematics (or equivalent);

OR

• An Advanced Apprenticeship in Surveying or Construction Technical with a minimum DD profile (or equivalent qualification), plus GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
