Our client, a business that has been going for over 60 years is looking to hire a 2nd line Infrastructure Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity with a diverse business, where you will get the chance to work on multiple projects within a small team.

General day to day duties in this 2nd line Infrastructure Engineer role include dealing with ticket escalations, supporting servers, switches, desktops, laptops etc. You must have software and hardware experience.

As a 2nd line Infrastructure Engineer, the hiring manager is looking for someone with experience within a 2nd Line Infrastructure role with experience with technologies like Windows, Office 365, Active Directory/M365. It would be beneficial if you have some experience with SQL.

Experience with VMware, servers and SAN is also beneficial.

In this 2nd line Infrastructure Engineer role, you will have lots of project work to get involved with, so it is important that you have good analytical, problem-solving & communication skills.
