The Role: 2nd Line Infrastructure Support Engineer
Leo Recruitment is hiring for an esteemed and award-winning Microsoft Gold Partner located in Dorset who uphold a strong sense of pride in their services. As their Second Line Infrastructure Support Engineer, you will be an escalation point for resolving technical support enquiries for customers remotely and onsite. You will be responsible for:
Spearheading the resolution of IT support queries, ensuring swift and efficient ticket resolution.
Embarking on on-site customer visits, utilising your problem-solving skills, and resolving break-fix issues.
Keeping a vigilant eye on servers, networks, firewalls, storage, and telecoms to make sure everything is running smoothly, ensuring that your customers' core infrastructure is maintained appropriately for availability, performance, operability, and security.
Continuously refining and expanding your skills through professional training and development plans.
To Be Successful:
You will need to have strong hands-on technical experience in a 2nd Line Support role (minimum).
You'll need to have a background working on a service desk within an MSP/IT Reseller (preferable) or customer-focused IT support environment.
You'll need to demonstrate deep expertise in supporting Microsoft 365, Exchange Online and Azure AD
You should be proficient in supporting Microsoft Server 2012 (upwards), DHCP, DNS, Group Policies, Anti-Virus, and key networking principles
You will need to have a valid driving license for travel.
Additional knowledge of technologies such as Firewalls, VMware/Hyper-V, Backups and N-Able would be highly advantageous
Location:

Poole, Dorset

predominantly office-based with some flexible and hybrid working available. Some travel will be required across Dorset from time to time.
Working Hours:

Core hours are 7:30am to 5:30pm with shifts to cover these times (your working pattern will be determined during the interview process depending on your circumstances/requirements)
