2x Contract Platers

Nexus Resource Solutions are working in partnership with a well-established engineering and fabrication specialist. We require time served Platers for a 3-4 month contract role.

The Role

As a time served Plater you’ll be marking out, cutting and burning plate and beams. Assembling and fitting from drawings.

Experience and Qualifications

We are looking for people who are used to fabricating structures within Nuclear, Marine, Oil & Gas or structural engineering industries.

* You’ll be working on medium to heavy structures

* Cutting, burning and forming steel from drawings

Rates: LTD/CIS

* £25ph basic

* £32.50ph OT1

* £39ph after 4hrs Sat and all day Sunday

* Mon-Fri

* 8am-4.30pm Mon-Thu

* Early finish on Fridays

* 39hr week

* 8-14hrs overtime available
