2x Site Managers

The Role

You will be responsible for the safe delivery of HV electrical infrastructure and substation projects across the NGED network, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, and in accordance with NGED procedures and standards.

Responsibilities:

* Manage day-to-day site activities across multiple NGED projects.

* Lead site teams, subcontractors, and direct labour.

* Ensure all works comply with NGED safety rules and operational procedures.

* Deliver site briefings, toolbox talks, and coordination meetings.

* Monitor programme, quality, and productivity.

* Complete site documentation including permits, RAMS reviews, inspections, and progress reports.

* Liaise with the client, project managers, engineers, and stakeholders.

* Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all HSE legislation.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Site Manager on HV electrical distribution or substation projects.

* Previous experience working on the NGED (formerly WPD) framework.

* Current NGED Operational Authorisations – Ops 1 & Ops 2 (Essential).

* SMSTS.

* CSCS Manager Card (or equivalent).

* First Aid at Work.

* Full UK Driving Licence.

* Strong leadership and communication skills.

Desirable:

* Temporary Works Supervisor.

* EUSR SHEA Power.

* IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.

* Experience delivering 11kV, 33kV and 132kV distribution projects.
