Overview:

First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with a respected removals company to recruit a 3.5T Driver based in South West London. This position offers a stable, full-time role with regular working hours, overtime availability, and excellent potential for progression. Ex-military candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Main Responsibilities:

• Operate a 3.5T van to carry out residential and commercial removals across London and the UK
• Assist with the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring secure and damage-free transportation
• Complete pre-journey vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance issues
• Deliver exceptional customer service during all removals, liaising professionally with clients and site staff
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and documentation
• Ensure adherence to all relevant health and safety procedures and road traffic regulations
• Work as part of a small, supportive removals team, providing flexibility as required for various tasks

Candidate Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence (Category B)
• Experience in a removals, delivery, or multi-drop environment is desirable
• Good physical fitness (manual handling required)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Professional, reliable, and punctual
• Strong problem-solving and teamworking abilities
