3rd Line Engineer - Infrastructure

An opportunity has arisen within a company that specialises in the provision of a wide range of IT solutions and services. The company are expanding their team are recruiting for two engineers with a focus on infrastructure and technologies.

Working with a variety of clients that range from SME to large companies, you will be involved in project implementation and 3rd line engineer support of a wide range of technologies. Responsibilities will include 3rd line support for microsoft server / operating systems, storage, virtualisation, cloud and network security, as well as actively implementing technologies for customer projects.

Requirements

We are looking for a 3rd Line Engineer who has experience of the listed technologies (not all are essential)

• Microsoft / Windows server
• HyperV, VMware and/or Citrix
• SAN/ storage technologies
• Backup: Veeam/Backup Exec/Zerto
• Office 365
• Cloud technologies - AWS/Azure
• Experience as an infrastructure engineer / 2nd/ 3rd line support engineer
• Any experience with Cisco networking and security products would be beneficial

It will be essential that all applicants are eligible to work in the UK. The role is based on site in Skipton and will be a Monday-Friday 9-5 role, with no requirement for on call. Travel to client sites in the local area is also a requirement of the role.
