3rd Line Network Engineer

Role Summary

We are recruiting for an experienced Network Engineer, ideally with good skills across other Infrastructure technologies. This role will be a key member of the Infrastructure Team, delivering, maintaining services and involved in Project Work. The role will be based in Nottingham, however, cover and exposure to the Head Office in Cricklewood, London will be required from time to time. At times there will be a requirement to travel to other Company offices in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland.
38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities

Responsible for converged networks and ensuring the stability, availability and integrity of the Businesses voice, data and wireless networks.
Designing, implementing, maintaining and supporting highly available diverse network, voice and security architectures.
Produce and maintain documentation and network diagrams.
Configure and installation of various network devices in line with the IT Security Policy.
Maintain effective & efficient infrastructure services used for the delivery of IT solutions across all areas of the Business.
Providing solutions that meet the needs of the Business.
Delivering IT projects.
Ensuring IT Infrastructure is appropriately maintained, secure and fit for purpose.
Monitor system resource utilisation, trending and capacity planning.
Ensuring system availability and reliability.
Work within configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes.
Provide 2nd / 3rd line support for fault resolution.
Identifying areas for consolidation and improvement.
Knowledge / Experience / Skills

Over 5 years experience in a 3rd line / Senior Network Engineer role.
Extensive experience of working with CISCO equipment, including firewalls and switches.
Cisco CCNA Certification or equivalent.
Extensive experience working with CISCO Call Manager, Unity, Call Recording,VOIP and cloud based telephone solutions.
Experience and knowledge working with Virtual and storage technologies.
Experience of Office 365, Azure, Windows Server operating systems and SharePoint.
Experience of integrating and consolidating other Businesses into the environment.
Excellent logical analysis skills, and ability to think creatively to deliver solutions.
Use initiative, being proactive, but also being a strong Team player.
Adaptable, flexible and willing to learn new skills and technologies.
ITIL / Change management or similar process experience.
