The current demand for their Network Managed services continues to grow both from existing and new customers. As a result, there is a need for an experienced 3rd Line Network Support Engineer to join the team with advanced technical knowledge.

Required
Cisco (core focus)
LAN DC – router and switches
WAN (BGP, EIRP)
Firewall experience across either – Fortinet, Palo or Next Gen
In the first 6 months you will be upskilled and get a cert.
SD-WAN

Responsibilities:
This is a "hands-on" technical expertise position that requires senior level knowledge in the areas mentioned above
Assist engagement with projects
Always developing and understanding Network Firewalls.
Supporting the Network engineering team in the advanced troubleshooting of customer’s environments.
Ensure technical documentation is completed and updated.
Identify technical problems and potential Service Improvements across client base.
Providing Technical guidance for Infrastructure team.
Managing incidents and problems appropriately within agreed service levels.
Perform Technical root cause analysis on reoccurring incidents.
Log calls with third party vendors.
Required to participate in an on-call technical escalation process.
