7.5 T Drivers

We are looking for 7.5 T Drivers to join our fast-paced logistics and distribution team in Houston Industrial Estate, Livingston. As a 7.5 T Driver you will be tasked with:

• Delivery and installation of furniture in customer's homes
• Working to a delivery schedule with the support and assistance of your crew mate
• Providing exceptional customer service and encouraging customers to provide feedback
• Ensure the safety of the team by carrying out daily vehicle checks and driving in a safe and efficient manner
• Manual handling - lifting and carrying of heavy furniture items
• Working as part of the wider distribution team to assist with loading and unloading vehicles when required

What you can expect:

• A shift pattern offering great work / life balance:
  • 3-week shift rotation working Monday to Thursday / Wednesday to Saturday / Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
  • Day shift hours working 6.30am till 6.15pm
  • No Sunday working
  • A 5-day rest period every 3 weeks

What we're looking for:

• A solid work history and a can-do, enthusiastic approach to work
• A 7.5 T vehicle licence with a maximum of 6 points
• A driver digital tachograph and the relevant CPC qualification
• A degree of physical fitness
• Some previous furniture delivery or customer service experience an advantage
